Lodge Treasurer (Elected Position)

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Reports to Lodge Vice Chief of Administration.
  • Works closely with the Lodge Treasurer Advisor, seeking advice and training. He does not wait for his advisor to call, but calls the advisor often.
  • Responsible to make sure Lodge funds are reported correctly.
  • Reports financial status of the lodge to the LEC.
  • Responsible to review Lodge expenses vs. amount charged for Lodge activities. Make recommendations for fee increases as needed.
  • Coordinates financial responsibilities of the Lodge.
  • Presents a yearly financial report to the Lodge at the annual banquet.
  • Serves as an example of the ideals of the BSA and the Order of the Arrow.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Lodge Vice Chief of Administration.
